AISA

Adelaide Independent Schools Alliance

Adelaide Independent Schools Alliance (AISA) consists of a group of premier non-government schools in South Australia who collaborate in the recruitment and support of overseas students who wish to complete their primary or secondary education in Adelaide. Members of AISA recognise the need for a holistic approach to student recruitment where support for the welfare of each student welfare extends beyond the initial application and enrolment period.

Arriving in an English-speaking country with limited language skills, and a lack of awareness of local cultures can be daunting, particularly for young students. AISA schools understand the challenges that international students face on arrival into Australia as they work to successfully transition into Adelaide schools. At the core of the AISA model is a cost-effective program through which students are supported to be better informed and prepared for their education in Adelaide.

This educational journey commences with participation in a carefully designed assessment of their current English language capacity, allowing the development of an individual learning plan to help them meet the entry requirements of their destination schools. Students are supported throughout this journey.
