EAP/SACE Teacher

Two positions for EAP/SACE Teacher in the following subjects or combinations:

  • Math
  • Science
  • Vietnamese
  • Business/Economics

Due to increased enrolments, we are seeking applications from new and experienced EAP/SACE Teachers for Term 4-2023 and 2024, who are dedicated to the teaching profession and keen to teach primary and high school students, preparing them for entry into mainstream schools. 

We are looking for teachers keen to share their innovative pedagogy with our students. We offer extensive professional learning in the EAP/SACE area, with weekly professional learning opportunities conducted during the school week.

The EAP/SACE Teacher role is a full-time fixed term or part-time fixed term contract from Term 4 – 2023, commencing on Monday 16 October to December 2024. There is a possibility for further employment.

Salary will be dependent upon the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience.

Essential Criteria

  • Highly motivated teacher: student centred, capably differentiates and effective communicator.
  • Registered to teach or capacity to be registered in South Australia
  • Working with Children Clearance
  • Responding to Risks of Harm and Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN)
  • First Aid (For Schools and Centres)
  • Active participation in regular performance reviews.

Desirable Criteria

  • Applicants must hold a Diploma of Teaching, Bachelor of Education or higher; be Registered as a teacher in South Australia (or able to be) and TESOL qualification - one or more of the following: Certificate III, IV, Graduate Certificate and/or Masters in TESOL
  • Demonstrated experience working with ACARA and/or SACE curriculum.
