English for Academic Purposes Years 7-10

Course Overview

EAP is taught to Year 10 and to students in Year 7-9.

Specialist language teachers provide an English Language focus to the following core subjects:

  • English Language
  • Maths
  • Science
  • Humanities
  • Exploring Identities & Futures
  • Physical Education
  • Wellbeing

AIS approaches learning using text based strategies to cover content based language.

Students complete language levelling tests each term to monitor and track progression.
